Carnevale di Oscurità was a highly collaborative production that involved a huge number of incredibly talented artists. The show was conceived to be an intersection of game, scripted, and unscripted elements, creating an immersive and highly interactive world that encourages the audience to take an active role in solving the mysteries of the carnival presented by the cast of characters— each themed after a Major Arcana card of the Tarot. Several interwoven storylines intersect throughout the course of the evening’s events, and audience participants must earn their invitation to stay for the finale. The outcome of the final scene is determined by the influence of the audience’s choices, and there are three different endings to the show.
